Lost History of the Ouchi Clan

During the Muromachi period (circa 1336–1573), the Ouchi clan ruled over what is now Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Ouchi clan created a flourishing culture, today called the Ouchi Culture, here in Yamaguchi. Traces of the spirit of those glory days can still be glimpsed in various spots throughout the city.
