The Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media
“YCAM”, is an art center located in Yamaguchi City (Yamaguchi Prefecture). YCAM’s facilities include exhibition spaces, workshop spaces, a cinema, and a library, among others. Operating around a central axis defined by the pursuit of new artistic expressions incorporating media technology, YCAM has hosted a wide variety of events, including exhibitions, performances, movie screenings, workshops for children, etc., since its opening in November 2003.

YCAM is located a 25-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride away. Alternatively, take the JR Yamaguchi Line (20 min.) to Yamaguchi Station. From Yamaguchi Station, it is a 25-min. walk, a 5-min. taxi ride or a 10-min. bus ride (Bōchō Bus / Chūgoku JR Bus / Yamaguchi City Community Bus) to YCAM. Get off at “Jōhō geijitsu center-mae". |
