Noda-jinjya Shinto Shrine
Noda Shrine enshrines Mori Takachika who was dedicated to the Meiji Restoration in terms of opening positions to persons of talent.
Noda Shrine enshrines Mori Takachika and also lies next to Toyosaka Jinja Shrine (transferred to its current place in 1871) which enshrines Mori Motonari who elevated the Mori family to prominent feudal lords of Western Japan in the Age of Civil Wars.
This shrine was designated as a tangible cultural property of Yamaguchi City.

Access | 10 minutes’ walk from JR Kamiyamaguchi Station on the JR Yamaguchi Line. 3 minutes’ walk from the bus stop “Nodagakuenmae” of Bochokotsu and JR Bus. Yamaguchi Community Bus is available. Use “Ouchi Route” bus and get off at the bus stop “61st Noda” and walk 5 minutes. |
