Hot Springs / Accommodations
Nagasawa Onsen (Hot Spring)
Situated on the shores of Lake Nagasawa, this spa is fed with tasteless, colorless, and odorless radon-rich waters from a simple, weakly radioactive cold mineral spring. You can look out on Lake Nagasawa from the large bath.
The facility includes an establishment called Nagasawa Garden, which has a restaurant, shop, and rooms for accommodation. Nearby is the Suzenji Museum (featuring exhibits of remains unearthed from a coin mint that existed in the area in ancient times and various Japanese coins as well as exhibits about Omura Masujiro, who led the modernization of the Japanese military in the late 19th century) and a golf driving range. Nagasawa Onsen is often used as a place to take a break during drives and sightseeing, and for a relaxing soak after golf.
