A masterpiece of Japanese craftmanship, this wooden five-arch bridge, considered one of the three most representative of Japan, spans the Nishiki river in a scene that seems taken from an old woodblock print.
Cross the bridge to the ropeway station that will take you to mountaintop Iwakuni castle, from which to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
