This spa is used for taking a hot spring cure. It has ion-rich waters. In particular, lithium ions are about three times higher than the standard value specified in Japan’s Hot Springs Act, and free carbon dioxide is about eight times higher. Lithium has a pain-relieving effect, and carbon dioxide has the effects of warming the body and lowering blood pressure. In addition, the spring waters can be drunk and are highly effective for digestive and liver conditions, diabetes, and gout.
